As they proceeded into the humongous palace, accompanied by each other, they stopped and gazed at the most spectacular room they have ever seen. THE GREAT HALL! One million woah’s filled the room, nearly everyone started trying to look for the easdroppers (I don’t know how to spell easdroppers) but they were almost impossible to find. Mr Wicksey ,who was their teacher, announced to everyone that they must write in their books information about Hampton Court. Everyone sat down on the bench of the white and spotless table writing down information until it was time to leave the room but before HQ did Mr Wicksey took a class photo. Then it was time to leave…..THE GREAT HALL!

    Great hall:
The great hall is England’s last and greatest medievil hall.In side, the room is spanned by a large decorated hammer beam roof. It’s walls are hung with Henry’s most splendid tapestries.
    Royal Chapel:
A beautiful chapel in continuos use for over 450 years.
It is outstandingly rich, colourful and layered with history. The chapel’s ceiling is the grand culmination of the Tudor interiors at Hampton Court.

You can enjoy all the above during you visit at Hampton Court Palace.

Miraculously, they made it through the old, creaky, wooden doors. The hallway was very dim and dusty, there was a smell of burning candles. Silently, they made their way up some ancient, narrow stairs, which led them to a wealthy looking bedroom with red, soft, velvet bed covers on a unusually small bed. Nervously they toddled into the the next grand room imagining what it would be like if you lived in this extraordinary palace. There was a constant chill and the walls felt sandy to touch. There was a tiny room with blue fluffy carpet, they saw a glittering, shiny, golden crown, which once belonged to King Edward Vl. The fascinating, gloriously exciting trip was sadly coming to an end but before their departure, they were able to visit the council chambers where Henry sat upon his wide, glimmering throne to discuss important matters. THANK YOU FOR READING!!!!!!!!! HOPE YOU ENJOYED!!!!!
